6. Square Dance (Quadrilha)

    Embora sejam comemoradas nos quatro cantos do Brasil, na região Nordeste as festas ganham uma grande expressão. O mês de junho é o momento de se fazer homenagens aos três santos católicos: São João, São Pedro e Santo Antônio.

       Quadrilha Junina Amantes da Cultura é formada por alunos e ex alunos da Escola Estadual Manoel de Matos.

The Square Dance is made up of our students and former students. They love to dance! They spend months rehearsing to submit during the month of June in our city and in nearby cities.

 

  The orange clothes is in honour our land which is considered the land of orange as it is main product grown in our region - orange.
